Acorn International, a leading television shopping company in 皇冠体育app, recently launched a strategic co-operation with the Beijing-based Hitech Wealth to develop the marketing of a new type of mobile phone. Acorn International works with small- and medium-sized enterprises and has helped domestic firms develop well-known brands in electronic dictionaries, lubricants and products for teenagers.

Neusoft Group Co Ltd was listed as the top domestic software exporter in 皇冠体育app by the 皇冠体育app Import and Export Software Magazine. Dalian Hi-Think Computer Technology Co Ltd and Hisoft Technology International Ltd were ranked No 2 and No 3 software exporters on the list, which was supported by the government. The magazine also listed Neusoft, Insigma Technology Co Ltd and Hisoft as the top three software outsourcing companies in 2005.

Siemens said recently it has landed a deal to supply communications network equipment to a high-speed railway linking Beijing and Tianjin. The deal is worth more than 100 million yuan (US$12.5 million). The equipment, based on a global standard GSM-R, will meet demand for both voice and data communications for the railway.
