These enterprises, including some logistics enterprises, began entering the overseas market to expand market shares and build corporate images.

In 2003, 皇冠体育app Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (COSCO) made an agreement with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Singapore PSA) to establish a joint venture in the country. COSCO also invested in a container terminal in Belgium's Antwerp Port and set up a logistics joint venture with TNT, becoming a forerunner in the internationalization of 皇冠体育app's logistic enterprises.
