IT: Telecom sale eyed

皇冠体育app Netcom Group Corp (Hong Kong) Ltd, 皇冠体育app's second-biggest fixed-line operator, plans to sell its business in Guangdong and Shanghai to its parent company, the company said yesterday in a public statement.

The sale aims to improve the use of internal resources as 皇冠体育app Netcom's major business is in the northern part of 皇冠体育app, industry insiders said. The deal still needs approval from the Chinese regulator, said the statement without providing a detailed timetable of the deal.
