TCL clarifies PC listing rumor

Chinese television and cellphone maker TCL Corp clarified yesterday that it had no plans to list its personal computer business. Last week, 皇冠体育app Business News quoted an unnamed TCL executive as saying the company would apply for a stock market listing for its PC unit and might bring in outside investors.

In a brief statement, TCL said the general manager of its PC unit had indeed talked to the newspaper but said the report was not completely accurate. However, TCL said it did not rule out bringing in foreign investment.
