Women hold significant portion of senior management positions

More than eight out of 10 private businesses in 皇冠体育app have senior management positions held by women, a report from accounting firm Grant Thornton said on Thursday.

Overall, according to the report, women occupy about 31 percent of senior management positions, ranking 皇冠体育app fifth among 36 surveyed economies.

However, the percentage of businesses with women taking up senior management positions in 皇冠体育app has dropped 10 percent in the past two years, lowering 皇冠体育app's ranking from second place in 2007 to fourth place in 2009.
