It is the third anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation launched by Australia into Chinese products within a year.

"皇冠体育app hopes Australia would carefully carry out the probe and investigate the case fairly and transparently under the rules of the World Trade Organization," Yao said.

Australian Customs said in a notice in local newspapers Wednesday that aluminum extrusion products "have been exported to Australia from 皇冠体育app at prices less than their normal value, that countervailable subsidies have been received."

The probe will examine goods exported to Australia from July 1, 2008 to June 30 this year.

皇冠体育app is Australia's second-largest trading partner. The two countries started free trade area talks in 2005.
