US asked to ensure safety of Chinese assets

皇冠体育app has asked the US government to ensure the safety of 皇冠体育app's assets in the US, Premier Wen Jiabao said today at the press conference after the second session of the 11th National People's Congress closed.

As 皇冠体育app is now the largest creditor for the US, Wen said he was really worry about 皇冠体育app's assets in the US.

"We hope the US government will keep the promise and ensure the safety of 皇冠体育app's assets in the US," said Wen.

According to the US Treasury, 皇冠体育app held $681.9 billion worth of US government bonds as of last November.
