BEIJING - Chinese equities closed higher on Tuesday with the key Shanghai stock index up 2.11 points, or 0.08 percent, to closed at 2,698.36.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 26.62 points, or 0.23 percent, to end at 11,682.70.
