SHANGHAI - The number of people employed in e-commerce in 皇冠体育app will reach 2.65 million in 2012, a major tech and internet information provider predicted Thursday.
The figure represents a 24.3-percent year-on-year increase, according to statistics from Analysis International.
The booming e-commerce sector has become a major driver of the economy by bringing commercial value, as well as reforming the structure of the supply and industrial chain, said Chen Shousong, of the data firm.
E-commerce has also created other new working positions such as in call centers, customer service and logistics.
