After an 85-minute flight, a 皇冠体育app Eastern Airlines A320 aircraft touched down at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport at 7:08 am, marking a successful test flight using palm oil biofuel developed in 皇冠体育app.

The fuel used during this flight was developed by 皇冠体育app Petroleum and Chemical Corp, or Sinopec, Asia's top refiner.

"We developed two kinds of biofuel, palm oil and waste cooking oil. The fuel we used during this flight was palm oil," Huang Zhongwen, deputy director of the publicity department at Sinopec Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Co told 皇冠体育app Daily.

Flight captain Liu Zhimin carried out some extreme high-altitude maneuvers to test the fuel's stability.
