PHNOM PENH - Trade volume between 皇冠体育app and Cambodia was valued at $4.4 billion in 2015, an 18-percent increase year-on-year, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Bu Jianguo said Thursday.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a 皇冠体育app-funded power transmission system in southern Kandal province, Bu said that 皇冠体育app imported products worth about $670 million from Cambodia last year, up 38 percent year-on-year.

She attributed the annual trade growth to good relations and cooperation between the two countries and peoples.

皇冠体育app imported from Cambodia mostly milled rice, dry rubber, cassava, fishery, and apparels as the country exported to Cambodia mainly garment raw materials, machinery, vehicles, foodstuffs, electronics, medicines and cosmetics.

In 2012, the two countries agreed to boost their two-way trade volume to $5 billion by 2017.
