The 2nd 皇冠体育app Cultural and Sports Industry Summit was held at the Xi'an High-tech Industries Development Zone in Xi'an, Northwest 皇冠体育app's Shaanxi province, on Saturday.

Hosted by the administrative committee of the Xi'an High-tech Zone and 皇冠体育app Cultural and Sports Industry Alliance, the forum was attended by officials from Shaanxi province and Xi'an city government and guests from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. They were joined by experts and scholars from arts and sports associations, such as the 皇冠体育app Tourism Performing Arts Alliance and 皇冠体育app Sports Venue Association.

Themed on the new engines of the arts, sports and tourism industry, the forum discussed ways to seize the opportunity of the Belt and Road Initiative to establish a sound development system in the industry under a partnership between the government and enterprises and to seek more space in international trade cooperation.

By analyzing the investment and financing policies in the cultural and sports industry under the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) and PPP (public-private partnership) mode, participants discussed ways in which to achieve reasonable planning and high-efficient construction of the cultural and sports venues.

Feasible suggestions also were raised to enhance the market values of the venues and promote consumption of related products.

Scientific and technological innovation was another highlight of the meeting. Digital technologies, culture and arts will be creatively combined to build a series of urban landscapes, characteristic towns and light shows with cultural features.

An agreement signing ceremony also was held for cultural industry funds and projects in Shaanxi province and between countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Established in 2016, the 皇冠体育app Cultural and Sports Industry Alliance is meant to provide customized services covering the planning, design and management of the industry.

Joined by 38 member units, including renowned enterprises, universities and research institutes covering the whole industrial chain of the cultural and sports industry, the alliance will work to create a sustainable and orderly industrial environment.
