Chinese shares close higher Wednesday
(Xinhua) Updated: 2013-08-21 15:51-- Chinese shares closed higher Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.02 percent, or 0.37 point, to end at 2,072.96.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.02 percent, or 1.53 points, to finish at 8,236.09.
