Chinese stocks close flat Wednesday
(Xinhua) Updated: 2014-01-08 15:31- closed little changed on Wednesday after a choppy trading session, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slightly down by 2.98 points, or 0.15 percent, to finish at 2,044.34.
The Shenzhen Component Index inched down 4.17 points, or 0.05 percent, to close at 7,802.14.
