LeEco Supercar unveiled its first smart electric vehicle concept LeSEE with automatic function in Beijing, and announced a time-sharing platform on Wednesday.

Ding Lei, co-founder and deputy chairman of the board of LeEco Supercar, drove the concept car to the center of the stage, and later Jia Yueting, chairman and CEO of Le Holdings Co, controlled and parked the vehicle through a Le2 smartphone launched at the event.

Ding said: “The concept car is at a superior position in large-size sedan segment. Besides, our supercar development plan covers the top segment, mid- and high-end, even entry-level products.

"We will produce as many products as we can, and replace as many waste emitting cars as we can."

The concept car's headlight system may indicate whether a human being is driving it or it's on autonomous drive, and could also show the gender of the driver, according to the company.

In autonomous driving mode, the steering wheel folds and contracts into the dashboard, giving spacious room to the driver.

Passing the suicide doors, the back passenger will seat and lean on the intelligent foam sofa that shapes automatically in accordance to the passengers' sitting position.

The entertainment systems are individualized for each passenger without disturbing other passengers.

The company's electric vehicle time-sharing business LeShare will be launched in Beijing and Shanghai this year, and expand to seven cities in the future. The LeEco-backed Yidao Inc will also share the platform.
