A raft of Japanese non-ferrous metal companies are swarming into 皇冠体育app to cash in on the country's fast growing auto market.

Kobe Steel Ltd, a leading Japanese steel maker, has kicked off production at its copper plate plant in East 皇冠体育app's Jiangsu Province.

The plant was constructed last July with an investment of 500 million Japanese yen (US$4.27 million).

"皇冠体育app has a huge market potential, especially for non-ferrous metal manufacturers supplying auto parts," a Kobe Steel executive said.
