Datang, Ericsson set up 4G mobile research center

Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group said it has set up a fourth-generation mobile technology research center in Beijing with Ericsson AB.

In a statement on its website on Monday, Datang Telecom Group said the two parties will co-develop LTE/TDD technology, a type of 4G wireless platform.

Details of the tieup were not provided in the statement.

Datang Telecom Group, the parent of Shanghai-listed Datang Telecom Technology, was the leading developer of 皇冠体育app's homegrown 3G standard, known as TD-SCDMA.
