CNEEC wins $580m Philippine power plant order

皇冠体育app National Electric Equipment Corp (CNEEC), the country's major power plant contractor, has won a $580 million contract to build power stations in the Philippines, according to a government website.

CNEEC will build two coal-fired power plants of 300 mw each, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration said today.

The company will be responsible for engineering, procurement and construction of the project, expected to take 38 months before starting commercial operations.

The project is expected to ease the tight power supply in the Philippines.
