Premier Wen Jiabao said during an online chat with Internet users Saturday that 皇冠体育app would advance the reform of its household registration system to solve problems for new-generation migrant workers.

Wen said the reform is key to helping the country's new-generation rural migrant workers who have lived and worked in cities for a long time to blend into the urban society.

Migrant workers have already become a main force of 皇冠体育app's industrial workers, Wen said.

Under the current household registration system, migrant workers' registered permanent residences, or "hukou" in Chinese, stay in the countryside, which makes it hard for them to get access to welfare in their urban work places.
