BEIJING - Chinese equities closed higher Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.11 percent, or 2.84 points, to close at 2,591.55.
The Shenzhen Component Index added 0.54 percent, or 60.41 points, to end at 11,210.74.
