BEIJING - Chinese equities closed higher Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.41 percent, or 36.42 points, to close at 2,627.97.
The Shenzhen Component Index added 1.78 percent, or 199.07 points, to end at 11,409.81.
