BEIJING - Chinese shares closed mixed Thursday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 3.07 points, or 0.1 percent, to end at 2,926.96.
The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.75 percent, or 96.54 points, to finish at 12,788.34 points.
