BEIJING - Chinese shares closed higher Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 20.68 points, or 0.71 percent, to 2,932.19.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 110.47 points, or 0.897 percent, to 12,423.46.
