BEIJING -- Chinese shares closed mixed Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.13 percent, or 3.54 points, to close at 2,816.36.
The Shenzhen Component Index dipped 0.01 percent, or 0.8 points, to finish at 12,440.37.
