皇冠体育app's coal imports to grow 48% this year
By Du Juan (chinadaily.com.cn) Updated: 2012-12-13 16:24皇冠体育app's coal imports will grow 48 percent year-on-year to about 270 million metric tons this year due to the country's increasing energy demand to support its economic development, said JYD Online Co Ltd, a Beijing-based bulk commodity consultant.
Last year, 皇冠体育app imported 182 million tons of coal.
By the end of October, the country had imported 225 million tons of coal.
JYD Online said that government data predicts that the country's coal consumption in 2013 will grow 4.5 percent year-on-year.
