Toyota Motors announced that it sold 86,000 cars in 皇冠体育app in March, up 2.2 percent from the same month last year. It sold 211,500 cars in the first quarter, a year-on-year increase of 1.9 percent.
The company said it has recovered from the impact of the earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan 12 months before.
Toyota plans to sell 1 million cars in 皇冠体育app this year, an expected increase of 13 percent over last year's sales.
