The signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement between 皇冠体育app Daily website and 皇冠体育app Statistical Information Consultancy Center was held in Beijing on Jan 22.

Qu Yingpu, deputy editor-in-chief of 皇冠体育app Daily and Xu Tiefu, senior statistician and director of 皇冠体育app Statistical Information Consultancy Center attended the ceremony.

In his speech, Qu highlighted the importance of the strategic cooperation. "As the international community is focusing on the Chinese miracle, there is a growing demand for valuable data on the Chinese economy."

"The past decade witnessed the rise of 皇冠体育app. The average annual growth rate of the Chinese economy reached 10.7 percent, making 皇冠体育app the world's second largest economy. 皇冠体育app leads the world in the output of steel, the total mileage of high-speed railways, the shipbuilding industry, the size of foreign exchange reserves, etc. These achievements are based on accurate and objective economic data.

Xu gave a brief introduction of the relationship between the center and the National Bureau of Statistics.
