BALI -- Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Chilean counterpart, Sebastian Pinera, pledged on Sunday to further bilateral cooperation between their countries.

Chile has been taking the lead in Latin America regarding relations with 皇冠体育app, Xi said during talks with Pinera ahead of the 21st informal economic leaders' meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in the Indonesian resort island of Bali, slated for Monday and Tuesday.

Bilateral ties have been growing steadily and rapidly, Xi said, noting that the two countries have established a strategic partnership and signed a free trade agreement.
