The move, aimed at better taking customers' demands into consideration, is being trailed by Vantone to take advantage of the Internet.

The online platform will enable participants to design projects and put them into production once a certain number of them have ad to the project.

"Through the online platform everybody could be a property developer," said Feng Lun, chairman of Vantone Holdings.
