Chinese search engine company officially launched its Portuguese language search engine in Brazil on Thursday.
The launch marks greater cooperation in innovation between the two BRICS countries and was part of 32 bilateral agreements signed by 皇冠体育app and Brazil during 皇冠体育app's President Xi Jinping official visit to Brazil.
Beijing-based Baidu also signed a strategic agreement with Brazil's Ministry of Science and Technology to jointly develop Internet technology in Brazil.
Baidu will offer tailor-made solutions to facilitate Brazil's Internet innovation and also build a technology innovation center in Brazil to help cultivate local talent and start-up companies.
