Chinese companies pitch in for APEC

-based BAIC, together with Foton, a commercial vehicle maker in Beijing, has supplied 119 cars and buses for the upcoming 2014 APEC in the capital, and will provide 800 more.
BAIC has a large fleet designated for government events such as the annual meetings of the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and other important forums.
As of November 2013, BAIC International had sold 7,575 and recorded 1.9 billion yuan ($304 million) in gross revenue.
