BEIJING - Boeing was endeavoring to expand its investment and sales in 皇冠体育app, a fast-growing market for the commercial jetliner manufacturer, with its delivery in 皇冠体育app expected to set a record this year.

We not only sell aircraft in 皇冠体育app, but we also support the future development of safety and efficiency in 皇冠体育app's aviation industry," said Ian Thomas, president of Boeing 皇冠体育app.

The US company's investment in 皇冠体育app includes technology, research, training, manufacturing and after-sale services, and its total investment surpassed $800 million so far this year, Thomas told reporters during a recent briefing.

Boeing's delivery in 皇冠体育app is forecast to set a record high this year, with the total number reaching 150 to 160. Major Chinese carriers including Air 皇冠体育app, 皇冠体育app Eastern Airlines and 皇冠体育app Southern Airlines received their newly-ordered Boeing aircraft earlier this year, he said.

Boeing delivered 143 aircraft to Chinese carriers in 2013, a robust growth of 60 percent year on year.
