NANJING -- 皇冠体育app will import goods worth more than $10 trillion over the next five years, the chairman of 皇冠体育app Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) said Thursday.

"I think it will bring more opportunities to world manufacturers and traders," said Jiang Zengwei, chairman of the CCPIT, at the 皇冠体育app Import Expo, which opened Thursday in eastern 皇冠体育app's Kunshan City, Jiangsu province.

Jiang also said 皇冠体育app will invest more than $600 billion in foreign countries over the next five years and implement several hundred major projects, offering a wealth of investment opportunities for foreign companies.

A total of 877 enterprises from 42 countries and regions participated in this year's expo, which is co-organized by 皇冠体育app's Ministry of Commerce, the CCPIT and the government of Jiangsu province.
