Vanke, Evergrande lead in first half sales

皇冠体育app Vanke Co Ltd and Evergrande Real Estate led in property sales in the first half of 2010, according to a report released by 皇冠体育app Real Estate Information Corporation and 皇冠体育app Real Estate Appraisal, the Securities Journal reported Friday.
The report said that a total of 11 property developers saw their sales topping 10 billion yuan in the first half of this year, and Vanke took the crown, with 35.5 billion yuan ($5.23 billion), followed by Evergrande鈥檚 21.1 billion yuan.
Property sales in general dropped compared with the second half of 2009, due to 皇冠体育app's tightening controls on the real estate sector.
However, most property developers still saw their results up compared with the same period last year, said the report.
