All-new Nissan Friend-Me

Targeting young Chinese consumers born after 1980, Nissan's new concept model is in the spotlight at the ongoing Auto Shanghai.

Making its world debut, the concept model, jointly designed by Nissan's global design center in Japan and its Chinese affiliate, features a private yet interconnected interior space in which four members inside the compartment can share access to information on speed, route and fuel , according to Andy Palmer, senior deputy president of Nissan Motor Company.

The mid-sized concept car's styling showcases the new trend in Nissan's design language. Combining both traditional and trend-setting visual elements in the look, it reflects the contradictory social status of the nation's younger generation, who are eager for freedom but must shoulder the burden of a lot of responsibilities.
