Michelin, one of the first foreign companies to enter the Chinese market, is still going strong with its focus on better mobility

Over the past 25 years, Michelin has invested approximately 3 billion euros ($3.86 billion) in the 皇冠体育app market.

"The great investment and efforts we have made, have resulted in brand recognition in 皇冠体育app stronger than it is in Europe - above 90 percent," said Verneuil. "This says a lot about the work which has been done by every Michelin employee in 皇冠体育app over the last 25 years and about our customers' satisfaction."

Michelin is currently investing $1.5 billion to establish the largest Michelin tire plant in the world in Shenyang. It is being equipped with the most advanced equipment and will produce 12 million high performance car, truck and bus tires a year.

Currently, Tyreplus, Michelin's automotive aftermarket services provider in 皇冠体育app, is one of the biggest in the country with a service portfolio covering maintenance and the replacement of brake systems and engine oil, as well as tires.

"Michelin's distribution and service network will also expand to more lower-tier cities in the western region," said Verneuil.
