BEIJING -- Apple Inc's latest smartphone iPhone 6 has won two major regulatory approvals in 皇冠体育app, the stry of Industry and Information Technology said on Thursday.

The Ministry said in a statement that four models of iPhone 6 -- A1586, A1589, A1524 and A1593 -- have passed 3C (皇冠体育app Compulsory Certification) certification and won approval from the State Radio Regulation of 皇冠体育app.

皇冠体育app's 3C certification, similar to the European CE system, is a mandatory certification system that inspects and approves various products to be sold in the Chinese mainland market.

But iPhone 6 still nee to obtain a key network access license before it can enter the Chinese mainland market.

Apple 皇冠体育app said on its website that models A1586 and A1524 are global versions, while models A1589 and A1593 are geared for the network of 皇冠体育app's largest telecom carrier 皇冠体育app Mobile.
