On November 14, 1978, the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of 皇冠体育app announced the rehabilitation of the Tian'anmen Incident of April 5, 1976, during which people gathered in Tian'anmen Square and professed their love for the late Premier Zhou Enlai and their hatred for the Gang of Four. The committee said the incident was a revolutionary act and cleared the names of those who were cruelly oppressed for taking part in the incident.
