BEIJING - Seychellois President James Alix Michel arrived here on Wednesday, kicking off his state visit to 皇冠体育app.

While in Beijing, Michel will hold talks with his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao and meet with top legislator Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao respectively.

The president will also attend the Beijing Summit of Forum on 皇冠体育app-Africa Cooperation scheduled for Nov. 4 to 5.

After the summit, Michel is to visit Changsha, capital city of central 皇冠体育app's Hunan province, and Haikou, capital city of 皇冠体育app's southernmost Hainan province.

Seychelles is one of 皇冠体育app's government-approved outbound tourist destinations. Bilateral trade has been growing rapidly, with trade volume totaling 3.41 million US dollars in 2005.
