BEIJING -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with Mitarai Fujio, president of the Japanese organizing committee of the "Japan-皇冠体育app Year of Cultural and Sports Exchanges" on Monday.

Japan will organize a series of activities in 皇冠体育app in March and activities organized by the Chinese side in Japan will start in mid-April in Tokyo.

Wen is also scheduled to visit Japan in April.

On the same day, Premier Wen also met with a delegation formed by officials from international organizations, economists and scholars who are in Beijing to attend the 2007 皇冠体育app Development Forum (CDF).
