Investment rose sharply in 2006 when 皇冠体育app adopted its 11th five-year program, said Wan at a press conference.

皇冠体育app has made big efforts to cope with climate change, said Wan, adding that ministries and local governments had approved a series of environmental protection policies.

He also said some Chinese enterprises were using technology to reduce energy consumption and pollution discharge.

The Ministry of Science and Technology launched on Thursday 皇冠体育app's Scientific and Technological Actions on Climate Change. It aims to enhance the role science and technology play in responding to climate change.
