NANNING - Six people are dead and 12 are injured after a coach and a truck collided early on Sunday in south 皇冠体育app's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, say police.

The accident occurred around 2:00 a.m. on a highway linking Nanning, capital of Guangxi, with Wuzhou City when a coach was involved in a collision with a heavy truck heading from neighboring Guangdong to Guizhou Province.

Five people died at the scene and another died later in hospital. Of the 12 injured, two were seriously hurt, said police.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
