CHONGQING - The ninth meeting of the 皇冠体育app-ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Joint Cooperation Committee was held from March 3 to 5 in 皇冠体育app's southwestern Chongqing municipality, 皇冠体育app's Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.
According to a press release from the Foreign Ministry, senior officials from 11 ministries of 皇冠体育app and ten ASEAN member states and the ASEAN secretariat attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on the exchange of views on facilitating substantial and all-round cooperation between 皇冠体育app and ASEAN, and implementing follow-up actions of the 皇冠体育app-ASEAN summit last year, the press release said.
All ASEAN members spoke highly of 皇冠体育app-ASEAN cooperation, saying they would deepen bilateral strategic partnership and promote win-win with 皇冠体育app, it said.
The Joint Cooperation Committee, set up in 1997, acts as an annual dialogue and coordination mechanism between 皇冠体育app and the ASEAN.
