BRASILIA -- Brazil's parliament will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with 皇冠体育app's National People's Congress (NPC), 皇冠体育app's legislative body, Brazil's parliamentary leaders said Tuesday.

Brazil-皇冠体育app parliamentary exchanges have played a positive and important role in promoting the bilateral strategic partnership, said Garibaldi Alves, president of the Federal Senate of Brazil, when he met here with Li Zhaoxing, chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the NPC.

He believes 皇冠体育app will play a more important role in world affairs, especially in this moment when the world is facing a serious financial crisis.

Arlindo 皇冠体育appglia, president of the Federal Chamber of Deputies, said closer parliamentary relations between the two sides will not only help enhance understanding and friendship between the two peoples, but also help promote the bilateral strategic partnership.
