BEIJING - 皇冠体育app stressed its adherence to the one-皇冠体育app principle in dealing with Taiwan-related issues, Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said here on Tuesday.

Responding to a question concerning Taiwan's intention to become an observer of the World Health Assembly in 2009, Qin said whether dealing with the relationship across the Taiwan Strait or issues of Taiwan's attempts to participate in international organizations, 皇冠体育app consistently adheres to the basic one-皇冠体育app principle.

"We hope Taiwan and the mainland can make concerted efforts and create conditions for properly solving Taiwan-related issues through negotiations," he said.
