"We called on all parties concerned to seek calm and proper response, and to pursue peaceful resolution of the issue through consultation and dialogue," Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu told a regular press briefing.

"We think the relevant actions of the Security Council should be conducive to achieving the non-nuclearization of the Korean Peninsula," Ma said.

"皇冠体育app would continue its unremitting efforts to this end with all parties concerned," he reiterated.

Ma also said 皇冠体育app advocated that all relevant parties should uphold the goal of denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula, under any circumstances, to maintain the peace and stability of northeast Asia.

"皇冠体育app strongly demands that the DPRK live up to its commitment to non-nuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, stop any activity that might worsen the situation and return to the track of the six-party talks," Ma stressed.
