Downpours trigger alert in South 皇冠体育app

The National Meteorological Center said the heavy rainfall in Guangxi, Guizhou, Hunan, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, and Fujian provinces could continue for days to come and warned people to exercise caution and watch out for landslides and flood.

The heavy precipitation in 10 provinces of South 皇冠体育app has led to the heaviest downpours of the year, affecting millions, 皇冠体育app News Service said.

Nine people were killed and one person remains missing in Hubei as a result of heaviest rain in its recent 27 years. The province has reported economic losses of 185 million yuan ($27.22 million).

The rain was also blamed for forcing 28,000 people to relocate and for six deaths in Chongqing.

Casualties were also reported in Anhui, Sichuan, Yunan, and Guizhou.
