Moderate earthquake hits Taiwan

BEIJING: An earthquake  measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit Taiwan at 0ï¼� 53 am Thursday, according to »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp National  Seismological Network.    The epicenter was initially determined to be  22.1 degrees north latitude and 120.3 degrees east  longitude.
