BEIJING: 皇冠体育app's foreign exchange reserve hit a new high of $2.2726 trillion by the end of September, People's Bank of 皇冠体育app, the central bank, said here Wednesday.

Wu Zhigang, a senior economist with the 皇冠体育app Development Bank said the foreign currency reserve may actually continue to grow over the coming months if there are no major shocks to the economy. Lu Zhengwei, a senior economist with the Industrial Bank also thought that 皇冠体育app's third-quarter foreign currency reserve would show a large increase.
