Jan-Sept GDP growth greater than 7%: NDRC

皇冠体育app's year-on-year GDP growth rate in the first three quarters of this year was over seven percent, said Xiong Bilin, an official with the National Development and Reform Commission, 皇冠体育app's top economic planning body, chinanews.com reported today.

Xiong said the government's 4-trillion-yuan ($586-billion) stimulus package helped spur 皇冠体育app's economic recovery, and added that there should be no problem in achieving eight percent GDP growth rate this year.

Final GDP growth data will be released Thursday.
